General answers about the billing process.

  • How do I cancel my Limiter Games membership
    • In your account page, under subscriptions, you will have a “Cancel Membership” option
  • How do Limiter Points work?
    • When you trade in a game you get Limiter Points, these points can be used to purchase anything in the store
  • Can I change my date of billing?
    • No, memberships will be charged based on the date you had signed up
  • What if I already had a free trial?
    • You will not be able to get another free trial using the same account
  • Will I be billed even if I don’t rent games?
    • Yes, the monthly billing will occur even if you don’t rent games
  • Does Limiter Games offer gift cards/certificates?
    • No, not at this time
  • How does it work when I keep a game?
    • You will have to pay for the game using the points you have, if you do not have any points you will be prompted to purchase more points
  • How does it work when I buy a game?
    • You will use your points to purchase a game, and limiter games will send you the game to the registered address
  • What payment methods are acceptable for memberships?
    • Only major credit cards at this time
  • Is there sales tax and how is it applied?
    • Sales tax is included into the pricing of the game membership and games
  • What membership plans does Limiter Games offer?
    • Limiter Games Currently offers 2 game plans; 1 game rental at a time, and 2 game rental at a time.

Shipping Process

How shipping at Limiter Games works.

  • What should I do, if my rental item is lost or missing in the mail?
  • How long will it take to get my game(s)?
    • The games will ship within 2-4 business days. US national holidays will cause shipping to be extended
  • What should I do if Limiter Games has not received my rental return?
  • What should I do if I have not received my rental?
    • Limiter Games has tracking on each envelope mailed out. Report it to support@limitergames.com and we will be able to track the shipment
  • Can I have my purchase shipped to a different address than my rentals?
    • At this time all rentals will ship to the current address of the account holder
  • I am moving, how do I change my shipping address?
    • In the account profile page, there is an option to change the account holders address
  • Where does Limiter Games ship games from?
    • Our HQ will send the games from Coral Springs, FL
  • How much does shipping cost on purchases?
    • No shipping costs will be incurred.
  • What kind of condition are your game discs in?
    • Fully functional, tested, and working condition
  • I accidentally returned a shipping envelope with no rental inside, how can I return it?
  • Why wasn’t I shipped the top title in my game queue?
    • This will happen if you currently are at max rentals checked out or the game is out of stock
  • I mailed back both rentals at the same time, why did you only receive one?
  • I lost, or damaged, the rental. What should I do?
  • I returned all my rentals, why did I receive an e-mail stating the titles were not returned?
  • Can I reserve a game, before it’s been released?
    • We currently do not have that option, but it is coming soon
  • Does a multi-disc game count as more than one rental?
    • No this will count as 1 game rental
  • Will I have to pay for a rental that is lost in the mail?
    • All shipments are tracked. If the games show no shipping information you will have to pay for the game.
  • I accidentally sent my own property back to you, what should I do?
  • What should I do if I lost a sleeve or pre-paid shipping envelope?
  • What happens if I receive or find a rental I reported lost?
    • If you had paid for the lost item it now belongs to you, you always have the option to trade-in the game towards Limiter Points
  • What should I do if I received a different game, inside the sleeve?
  • What should I do if I received a damaged game?
  • Do I have to mail all the rentals back, before I cancel?
    • Yes, your account will remain active until all games have been returned
  • You received my rental return. Why haven’t you shipped my next one?
    • Your rental may not have arrived or its still in processing

  • How do I contact Limiter Games Support?
  • What is Limiter Games?
    • Limiter Games is an online video game rental company which allows you to also buy and trade video games
  • How does the free trial work?
    • Once you sign up with a credit card your 2 week free trial begins. After the free trial you will then be charged for a month by month subscription based on the plan you chose
  • Do Limiter Points ever expire?
    • Limiter Points will never expire
  • What happens to Limiter Points, if I cancel my account?
    • They will be lost until you reactivate your account
  • I purchased a used game and received the wrong item.
  • The product I purchased/rented does not work.
  • How can I spend the Limiter Points that I’ve earned?
    • Limiter Points can be used for all purchases in the store section
  • How do I keep my password protected?
    • We recommend changing it every 3 months
  • I tried to log in, but it says your username/password is incorrect?
    • There is a forgot password option that can be used to reset this option
  • My account is cancelled, but I need shipping envelopes to send my rentals back.

General info on how Credit Cards are used

  • My address is correct, why was my card declined?
    • Many different reasons could be an issue, the card number might be incorrect, the security number might be incorrect, there may not be enough funds in the card, the card could be expired
  • Do I need a credit or debit card to sign up?
    • Yes, currently Limiter Games only accepts major credit or debit cards
  • Can I pay with a money order, check or cash?
    • No, currently Limiter Games only accepts major credit or debit cards
  • Why was my card declined?
    • Many different reasons could be an issue, the card number might be incorrect, the security number might be incorrect, there may not be enough funds in the card, the card could be expired
  • My account is suspended. How do I update my billing information and have my card changed again?
    • You can still log into your account page and update these settings, if you have any issues doing this you can contact support@limitergames.com
